While establishing the political career, he wrote a account book about prominent senators named Profiles in Courage and was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for it in 1957. Then, in 1960 John F. Kennedy won the 35th presidential elections and became the youngest and the most favored chair of the Unites States. He was also the first Roman Catholic to be chosen for this high post (Life of John F. Kennedy).During his presidency, J. F. Kennedy had to deal with several crises on the worldwide level including the Cuban Missile Crisis and the creation of the Berlin Wall at the initiative of the Soviet Union leader which turned into the most powerful symbol of the frigidness War. These events are often associated with the reasons of the Presidents murder. However, John Kennedy accomplished great success in the U. S. foreign policy as well. His most remarkable achievements pertain the Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty, the creation of Peace Crops and the Alliance for Progress with Latin America.
